Principal

Bryan R. A. McConachy, P.Eng., PMP, Fellow PMI

Bryan McConachy, P.Eng., PMP is the principal of Bramcon Project Consultants who provide consulting, coaching and training in project organization, risk analysis and project control systems.

He began his career in engineering where he quickly moved from design and project engineer to project manager responsible for all aspects of industrial and transportation projects. He found that as project manager, he was having to use his then-limited interpersonal skills to get people with diverse backgrounds working together. After 15 years as a member of a chapter cooperative group providing training for the PMP Certification Exam, he is now an advocate of post-PMP training in the soft skills that he has found correlate with project success.

Mr. McConachy has been active in the Project Management Institute at both the local and international levels for 25 years. He has been a chapter president, was certified as a PMP in 1989 and in 1996, was elected a Fellow of PMI.

Cynthia Caine has over 20 years of experience in the fields of education, marketing, economics, accounting and latterly, project management.  The transition from educator to project manager was responsibility for making a Middle School library a user-friendly focal point of the school. Responsibilities for the three-year project to renovate and revitalize the library included seeking funds from outside the school system, renovation of the library center (including furniture, equipment and computers), acquisition of books and software as well as installation of a modern security system. The project was a success and another professional was drawn into the world of project management.

Her strong interest in using her training skills in the project management field has led to the association with Bramcon Project Consultants who offer a number of project management training workshops.
